Sl-75drv5
I was reading somewhere that the Soltek SL-75DRV5 was only compatable with systems up to Athlon XP 2100+. Will this mobo work with the 2200+? I think the site may not have been updated since the new Athlon XP 2200+.

It should work fine, my guess is that the site just wasn't updated with the latest processors.

Grrr Im stuck
I do not know which motherbaord to buy, I am stuck between the two. First is the Soltek SL-75DRV5, the next is the shuttle AK35GT/R. Which one would be better for the AMD Athlon XP 2200+?? Sorry for so many posts. I just dont want to buy the wrong board. Plus are these two motherboards both DDR?

Both are equally good boards. The Shuttle is a jumperless board that doesn't require you to do anything but hook everything up. The Soltek board, although you can leave everything at the default values, has a group of dip switches which will allow you to overclock the CPU, RAm, and Video card. Soltek also has the "RedStorm" overclocking chip that, when enabled will autoatically overclock your CPU and keep it stable. Soltek also includes an Temp sensor that you can put on you hard drive or video card to monitor their temps alongwith those of the CPU. Soltek also includes two ATA66/100 IDE cables, their maunal is very good, and they include a very useful software disk with full versions of PC Cillian Anti Virus, Drive Image, Partition Magik, and Virtual drive (lets you play games without the CD rom inserted.
